Cyclists Ahead (TC1397) – Multi-Message Sign

The Cyclists Ahead (TC1397) multi-message sign is a 600 × 600 millimetre traffic yellow regulatory panel designed to alert motorists to the presence of cyclists on or approaching the roadway. This sign provides a clear, enforceable advisory for drivers to reduce speed, stay alert, and maintain safe passing distances, enhancing safety for all road users. Manufactured to Queensland Government traffic control requirements, the panel integrates seamlessly with the state-approved multi-message frame system.

As part of Queensland’s modular multi-message system, the Cyclists Ahead panel can be displayed on its own or paired with complementary warnings such as “Reduce Speed,” “Share The Road,” or “Traffic Incident Ahead” to create one compliant display. The approved frame supports flexible layouts, including two 600 × 600 millimetre panels above a 1200 × 300 millimetre panel, or a single 1200 × 600 millimetre panel above with the same 1200 × 300 millimetre panel beneath. This modularity allows councils, contractors, and traffic management providers to adapt signage quickly to suit changing road conditions.

Produced with CL400 Class 1W reflective material in traffic yellow, the Cyclists Ahead panel ensures excellent visibility during daylight, nighttime, and adverse weather conditions. Its durable, weather-resistant construction fully complies with Australian traffic sign standards, delivering long-term reliability on highways, urban roads, and temporary traffic management zones. By clearly alerting drivers to the presence of cyclists, the sign promotes safer lane usage, reduces collision risks, and enhances overall road safety.

For roads, intersections, and temporary traffic management areas, the Cyclists Ahead (TC1397) sign provides trusted compliance, high-visibility performance, and durable construction in one modular panel.
