Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars | Portable Traffic Cone Safety Signs

Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars

Global Safety Industries Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars are portable traffic cone safety signs designed to provide highly visible identification of equipment, machinery, vehicles, infrastructure and work areas that are undergoing repair or maintenance across construction sites, mining operations, industrial facilities and civil infrastructure projects.

Designed to fit directly over existing compatible traffic cones, these reflective cone collars transform standard cones into highly visible temporary Under Repair safety signs without requiring separate sign stands, frames or mounting hardware. The lightweight slide-over design allows maintenance crews and site personnel to establish, reposition or remove repair status messaging quickly as maintenance activities and work areas change.

Manufactured in Australia using high-visibility reflective materials, the cone collars provide clear daytime identification and enhanced visibility when illuminated by vehicle headlights at night. Standard configurations are available for 450mm and 700mm traffic cones, with custom sizes, branding, graphics and project-specific messaging available on request.

Main Advantage

The main advantage of the Reflective Under Repair Cone Collar is its ability to transform an existing traffic cone into a highly visible temporary repair status display without requiring a conventional sign stand, frame or additional deployment equipment. The Under Repair message helps identify equipment, machinery, infrastructure or areas undergoing maintenance, while the simple slide-over configuration helps crews reduce setup time, minimise equipment requirements and reposition messaging as repair activities and work areas change.

Portable Traffic Cone Safety Sign System

Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars provide a compact alternative to conventional temporary repair and maintenance identification signage for suitable site applications. Instead of deploying an additional stand and sign panel, the reflective collar is positioned directly over a compatible traffic cone.

This allows existing traffic control and delineation equipment to perform an additional repair status identification function while keeping deployment lightweight, portable and easy to transport. When maintenance activities, equipment locations or work areas change, the cone and collar can be repositioned as required.

High-Visibility Reflective Identification

The reflective Under Repair display is designed to provide strong visual recognition during daytime operations while enhancing visibility when illuminated by vehicle headlights during night-time or low-light conditions.

This makes the cone collars suitable for temporary work environments where operators, contractors, maintenance crews and site personnel need to quickly recognise equipment, machinery, infrastructure or areas that are currently undergoing repair or maintenance activities.

Fast Slide-Over Traffic Cone Installation

Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars are designed for quick installation over compatible traffic cones without specialist tools or permanent mounting hardware.

Crews can position the collar over the cone to establish the required temporary repair status message and relocate the complete setup when maintenance activities, equipment locations or work areas change. This installation method is particularly useful for maintenance teams and temporary projects where safety and identification equipment may need to be deployed, relocated and packed away regularly.

Suitable Industries & Applications

Suitable for roadworks, traffic management, construction, mining and resources, civil infrastructure, utilities, government departments, local councils, industrial facilities, rail projects, airports, ports and warehousing operations where temporary repair or maintenance identification is required.

Common applications include equipment maintenance areas, machinery repair zones, vehicle servicing locations, infrastructure repairs, construction projects, mining operations, utility maintenance works, temporary work areas, plant maintenance activities and project-specific repair status identification.

Compact Storage & Transport

Because the Under Repair message is supplied as a lightweight cone collar rather than a rigid sign and separate stand, multiple collars can be transported and stored in a compact space. This is particularly useful for maintenance vehicles, service crews, civil contractors and mining operations carrying temporary safety and identification products between work locations.

Traffic Management Use

Reflective Under Repair Cone Collars are manufactured using high-visibility reflective materials for temporary repair and maintenance identification, traffic management, construction, mining, industrial and utility applications.

The appropriate message, cone size, quantity, placement and deployment method should be determined according to the applicable Traffic Management Plan, Traffic Guidance Scheme, maintenance procedures, site procedures and relevant safety requirements.

Where a specific regulatory sign, isolation control, lockout procedure or other safety requirement is required, the responsible site safety or maintenance professional should confirm that the selected product configuration and deployment method are appropriate for the intended application.
