Tri Stand Markers Roll-Up Sign System – Workman – Three-Sided Reflective Safety Sign for Roadwork, Mining & Underground Applications

Tri Stand Markers Roll-Up Sign System – Workman – Three-Sided Reflective Safety Sign for Roadwork, Mining & Underground Applications

The Global Safety Industries Tri Stand Markers Roll-Up Sign System Workman is an Australian-made three-sided portable safety signage solution designed to provide highly visible worker presence and work area warning messaging across demanding roadwork, mining, underground and industrial environments.

Unlike conventional single-face warning signs, the Tri Stand configuration provides three separate reflective Workman sign faces around one integrated freestanding structure. Each side can display the same warning message for multi-directional visibility, helping alert drivers, personnel, mobile plant and equipment operators that workers may be present within or around the designated work area.

Manufactured using durable retroreflective roll-up material, the system provides strong daytime visibility and high reflectivity under vehicle and machinery lighting during night-time and low-light operations. The integrated stand incorporates stable support arms together with an anchoring point for sandbags or additional weights, providing a practical combination of portability, stability and rapid deployment.

Main Advantage

The primary advantage of the Tri Stand Markers Workman system is its three-sided configuration. One portable unit can communicate worker presence from multiple approach directions without requiring separate individual signs around the same work area.

This makes the system particularly effective in roadwork zones, mining areas, underground operations, maintenance locations and industrial sites where vehicles or machinery may approach from several directions and clear warning of personnel working in the area is required.

Three-Sided Sign Configuration

The Tri Stand Markers Roll-Up Sign System provides three independent Workman sign faces arranged around the stand, creating a highly visible multi-directional worker warning platform.

Displaying the Workman message on all three reflective faces allows the warning to remain visible from multiple directions around the work area, helping improve recognition by approaching personnel, vehicles, mobile plant and equipment operators.

This configuration allows one system to provide consistent worker presence communication while reducing the need to position several individual warning signs around the same operational area.

Product Configuration & Inclusions

• 1 × three-sided Tri Stand structure
• 3 × reflective Workman roll-up sign faces
• Integrated stable support arms
• Anchoring hook for sandbags or additional weights

Message Configuration Options

The three-sided design allows the Workman message to remain visible across multiple approach directions, providing consistent worker presence warning throughout temporary and operational work areas.

Workman Message on All Three Sides

Suitable where workers need to remain clearly identified from multiple directions, including roadwork sites, mine access roads, underground intersections, maintenance areas, construction zones and equipment movement routes.

Custom Message Configurations

Alternative or complementary safety messages can also be specified where project requirements call for a combination of worker presence, hazard, directional, restricted access, speed reduction or operational instructions on the Tri Stand system.

Suitable Sign Messages

The Workman Tri Stand Marker is designed primarily to provide highly visible warning that personnel may be working within or around the designated area.

• Workman warnings
• Worker presence identification
• Roadwork crew warnings
• Mining personnel warnings
• Underground work area identification
• Maintenance crew warnings
• Vehicle approach warnings
• Mobile plant caution messaging

Integrated Tri Stand

The integrated stand is designed for rugged temporary deployment while remaining portable enough for crews to move the Workman sign between work areas as personnel and operational requirements change.

Stable support arms create the three-sided structure and maintain the position of each reflective Workman roll-up sign face during use. An integrated anchoring hook allows crews to attach a sandbag or suitable additional weight when extra stability is required.

This combination provides a practical solution for environments where temporary worker warning signage may be exposed to wind, vehicle movement, machinery activity or changing operational conditions.

Suitable Industries & Applications

Suitable for road maintenance, traffic management, mining operations, underground mines, surface mining, civil construction, maintenance projects, infrastructure works, industrial facilities and other operations requiring temporary worker presence and work area warning signage.

Common applications include roadwork sites, mine access roads, underground intersections, maintenance areas, construction zones, equipment movement areas, temporary work zones and operational routes where drivers or machinery operators need clear warning that workers may be present.

Designed for Mining & Underground Operations

Mining and underground environments frequently require worker presence warnings to remain visible from several approach directions. Intersections, mine access roads, maintenance locations, equipment areas and temporary work zones can be difficult to manage effectively with a conventional single-face sign.

The three-sided Tri Stand configuration provides a practical solution by allowing the Workman message to be viewed around the unit, helping communicate worker presence toward separate vehicle, personnel or equipment approaches.

Retroreflective Roll-Up Sign Faces

Each Workman Tri Stand sign face is manufactured using durable retroreflective roll-up material designed to provide strong visual recognition across demanding temporary work environments.

The reflective construction provides clear daytime visibility and enhanced performance under headlights, work lights and machinery lighting during night-time and low-light operations.

The flexible sign faces also contribute to the portability of the system, allowing the unit to be packed and transported more efficiently than comparable rigid multi-face worker warning signage.

Stability for Demanding Worksites

The Workman Tri Stand is designed to provide a stable temporary signage platform across environments where wind, machinery movement and active operations may affect conventional lightweight signage.

Stable support arms form the base of the system, while the integrated anchoring hook allows a sandbag or suitable additional weight to be added when site conditions require increased stability.

Compact Folding & Portable Design

Despite providing three reflective Workman sign faces and an integrated stand, the Tri Stand Markers system is designed to remain lightweight, portable and efficient to transport.

The stand folds into a more compact configuration when not in use, helping crews transport multiple signs between work locations and reducing the amount of storage space required compared with transporting several separate rigid warning signs and stands.
