Merging Traffic Right (TC2016-R) – Multi-Message Sign

The Merging Traffic Right (TC2016-R) multi-message sign is a 600 × 600 millimetre traffic yellow regulatory panel designed to warn motorists that traffic from the right lane will be merging ahead. This sign provides a clear, enforceable advisory for drivers to adjust speed, maintain safe spacing, and prepare for merging vehicles to reduce the risk of collisions. Manufactured to Queensland Government traffic control requirements, the panel integrates seamlessly with the state-approved multi-message frame system.

As part of Queensland’s modular multi-message system, the Merging Traffic Right panel can be displayed on its own or paired with complementary warnings such as “Reduce Speed,” “Lane Closed Ahead,” or “Traffic Incident Ahead” to create one compliant display. The approved frame supports flexible layouts, including two 600 × 600 millimetre panels above a 1200 × 300 millimetre panel, or a single 1200 × 600 millimetre panel above with the same 1200 × 300 millimetre panel beneath. This modular design allows councils, contractors, and traffic management providers to adapt signage quickly to changing road conditions.

Produced with CL400 Class 1W reflective material in traffic yellow, the Merging Traffic Right panel ensures excellent visibility during daylight, nighttime, and adverse weather conditions. Its durable, weather-resistant construction fully complies with Australian traffic sign standards, delivering reliable long-term performance on highways, urban roads, and temporary traffic management zones. By clearly warning drivers of merging traffic, the sign promotes safer lane changes, reduces congestion, and enhances overall road safety.

For highways, urban roads, and temporary traffic management, the Merging Traffic Right (TC2016-R) sign provides trusted compliance, high-visibility performance, and durable construction in one modular panel.
