The Tunnel Overhead Caution Barrier System is a modular overhead warning barrier designed to improve hazard identification across underground mining, tunnelling and civil infrastructure environments.
Suitable for tunnel construction, underground roadways, rail tunnels and confined work areas, the system provides a highly visible overhead warning for restricted access zones, machinery operating areas and active work locations.
Manufactured using double-sided Class 1W retroreflective material, the standard 5000mm system incorporates segmented reflective panels, heavy-duty elastic suspension sections, industrial S-hooks and a controlled break-away centre connection for demanding underground operating conditions.
Main Advantage
Unlike barrier tape or plastic chain that can be difficult to identify underground, the Tunnel Overhead Caution Barrier System creates a bright reflective warning visible from both directions.
The break-away centre connection helps minimise damage if the system is contacted by machinery, while the modular construction allows the barrier to be quickly installed, relocated and reused across changing underground work areas.
