Traffic Controller (TC1257) Multi-Message Sign

The Traffic Controller (TC1257) multi-message sign is a 600 × 600 millimetre panel finished in bright fluoro orange, designed to warn motorists that qualified traffic controllers are managing vehicle movement ahead. When crews are working on or near the road and manual stop/slow control is in place, this sign gives drivers a clear heads-up to slow down, watch for instructions and proceed carefully, keeping both workers and the travelling public safe. Manufactured to meet Queensland Government traffic control requirements, it slots directly into the multi-message frames already used across the state.

Because it’s part of the Queensland-approved multi-message system, the Traffic Controller sign can be displayed on its own or combined with other important warnings like “Reduce Speed” or “Roadwork Ahead” to create one clear, compliant display. This modular setup makes it simple to update or swap panels as conditions change without having to buy a completely new sign each time. The frame accommodates the approved layouts—two 600 × 600 millimetre panels at the top with a 1200 × 300 millimetre panel below, or a single 1200 × 600 millimetre panel above with the same 1200 × 300 millimetre panel underneath—so councils, contractors and traffic management providers get full flexibility while staying within regulations.

Using CL400 Class 1W reflective material in fluoro orange, this panel stands out in daylight, at night and in bad weather, giving drivers extra time to respond safely to directions from traffic controllers. Built from durable, weather-resistant materials and fully compliant with Australian traffic sign standards, the Traffic Controller (TC1257) sign is a reliable choice for councils, contractors and traffic management providers who need a trusted way to alert motorists to manual traffic control ahead.

For crews managing temporary works or manual traffic control, the Traffic Controller (TC1257) sign delivers proven compliance, high-impact visibility and long-lasting performance in one simple package.
