Use Other Footpath (TC2214) – Multi-Message Sign

The Use Other Footpath (TC2214) multi-message sign is a 600 × 600 millimetre traffic yellow regulatory panel designed to instruct pedestrians to use an alternative footpath due to closures, hazards, or construction activity. This sign provides a clear, enforceable directive that improves pedestrian safety and minimises conflicts with worksites or traffic. Manufactured to Queensland Government traffic control requirements, the panel integrates seamlessly with the state-approved multi-message frame system.

As part of Queensland’s modular multi-message system, the Use Other Footpath panel can be displayed on its own or paired with complementary pedestrian guidance such as “Pedestrians Left” or “Pedestrians Right” to form one compliant display. The approved frame supports flexible layouts, including two 600 × 600 millimetre panels above a 1200 × 300 millimetre panel, or a single 1200 × 600 millimetre panel above with the same 1200 × 300 millimetre panel beneath. This modular format allows councils, contractors, and traffic management providers to adapt signage quickly as site conditions change.

Produced with CL400 Class 1W reflective material in traffic yellow, the Use Other Footpath panel ensures high visibility during daylight, nighttime, and adverse weather conditions. Its durable, weather-resistant build complies fully with Australian traffic sign standards, delivering long-term reliability in demanding urban and roadside environments. By clearly directing pedestrians to alternate routes, the sign reduces risks, improves compliance, and supports safe footpath management.

For construction zones, roadworks, and temporary pedestrian management, the Use Other Footpath (TC2214) sign provides trusted compliance, high-visibility performance, and durable construction in one modular panel.
